The Willow Grove team is made up of doctors, nurses, cognitive behavioral therapists, a clinical psychologist, social worker/family therapist, occupational therapist, psychotherapist and dietician.
On admission you will be assigned two key workers both of whom will meet up with you on a regular basis. Throughout your stay, your key workers will work with you to develop an appropriate care plan, treatment goals etc.
We recommend that you link in with your key workers regularly about any worries or concerns you may have. An associate nurse will also be available to you at times when your key workers are not on the Unit.
Dr. Buckley is a specialist in Child + Adolescent Psychiatry with an interest in detecting mental illness early and providing comprehensive assessments and treatment programmes for a wide range of Mental health disorders in adolescents.
Her special interests are ADHD, Mood disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Eating Disorders and First Episode Psychosis. She runs the Willow Grove Adolescent inpatient unit in St. Patricks University Hospital and sees outpatients in the Dean clinic in Lucan

Shauna Collins is a Trinity College graduate. She has thirteen years experience of working in mental health care. She has worked with both adults and adolescents and is a CBT therapist since 2008.
Specialist interest areas include Anxiety Disorders and Compassion Focused Therapy. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is based on the idea that how we feel and what we do are due to the way we think. Shauna works both individually and in groups to help clients find more helpful ways of thinking and to develop new skills to cope.

Dr Dowling has ten years experience working in a wide variety of mental health settings. She has worked in the Willow Grove Adolescent Unit over the past year and prior to that worked in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service for three years.
Dr Dowling has an interest in a range of mental health difficulties and a specific interest in psychodynamic group therapy. She uses an integrative approach drawing from Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Systemic Therapy. She works with both young people and their parents.
BSC(HONS) Occupational Therapy
Enda has many years experience in Adult Community Mental Health, Early intervention in Psychosis service, Adolescent inpatient/day patient and forensic rehabilitation hospitals.
Enda's specialist interest areas include Adolescent and Forensic Occupational Therapy and Early intervention in Psychosis services.
BScOT PGDipCBT
Siobhan qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2001 and has worked in the Mental Health Services since then. She completed the Postgraduate Diploma in CBT in 2007 and has worked as a Cognitive Behavourial Therapist since this time.

Carol has five years experience working in mental health care. Carol has worked in both adult and adolescent units.
She has undertaken further education within the area of child and adolescent mental health and is currently in her final year of completing a master in this area. Her special interests include eating disorders, family therapy and psychosis.

Since qualifying 5 years ago, Emer has worked exclusively within the area of Child & Adolescent Mental Health gaining experience at out patient, day patient and inpatient levels.
Emer's role as CNM 1 involves assisting the management team on the Unit whilst also remaining clinically involved in young people's care. Areas of special interest to Emer include Solution Focused Therapy and Groupwork.
Colman Noctor has 16 years experience in the area of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Colman is a senior nurse manager in the willow grove adolescent unit.
Colman also works in the assessment and treatment team in the Dean Clinic in Lucan and is also qualified as a psychoanalytical psychotherapist. Colman's special interests are in eating disorders, anxiety problems and attachment disorders.

Angela has worked in mental health nursing for over 25 years in a variety of clinical and managerial roles in both hospital and community settings.
She has worked as Nurse Practice Development for the mental health nursing programme with the HSE/Dublin City University and as a national development manager for volunteer and student programmes in Barnardos, national childrens charity.
She has been working in the area of child and adolescent mental health for the last 4 years and is currently pursuing a masters degree in child, adolescent and family mental health. Her areas of interest are eating disorders, and psychosis.
