Stuart has worked in the mental health field for 28 years as a nurse, ward manager, clinical nurse specialist and CBT Therapist. He has predominately specialised in mood disorders, and sexual and relationship problems. Stuart has a special interest in Schema Focussed Therapy (SFT), and is currently studying towards accreditation with the SFT Association.

Aisling Curtin specialises in acceptance- and mindfulness-based therapeutic approaches in groups. She has underwent extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) in the US, Australia and UK. Aisling is very passionate about these approaches and regularly presents research and training workshops around the world. She works with all multi-disciplinary teams in St. Edmundsbury Hospital and her groups are open to those in St. Patrick's University Hospital also.

Dr. Michael DelMonte has more than 35 years experience in Psychology. He accepts referrals from all the teams in St. Edmundsbury Hospital. He works with individuals, couples, families and groups, drawing on psychodynamic, mindfulness, systemic and constructivist approaches to psychotherapy. His special interests include relationship difficulties, personality disorders, somatoform disorders, adjustment disorders and post-traumatic stress disorders. His focus is on helping patients make sense of, and develop some control over, their psychological difficulties – especially in areas where they feel stuck.

Michael Finn is the Assistant Director of Nursing at St. Edmundsbury and is responsible for the service management of St Edmundsbury Hospital since 2009. He has being with the service since 1976. After completing his nurse training in St Patricks in 1973 he went to England were he completed his general nurse training and gained a wide range of clinical experience. He plays an active role in many important initiatives within the service. He is a member of the falls prevention committee, Drugs and therapeutics, Clinical Governance and the hospital Risk Management Committee. Since taking up his post in St Edmundsbury he has promoted a number of inpatient service development projects, including the development of the Day Service programme.

Dr. Noel Kennedy is a general adult psychiatrist who runs the Mood Disorders Programme in St. Edmundsbury Hospital. His clinical expertise is in the assessment and treatment of resistant mood disorders, particularly depression. Dr. Kennedy's research interests are in the epidemiology treatment and outcome of depression and bipolar disorder. Dr. Kennedy trained as a psychiatrist on the Dublin University Psychiatric Rotation before undergoing specialised psychiatric training in the University of Cambridge and the Institute of Psychiatry, London.

Dolores worked in St Patrick's University Hospital as Staff Nurse/Deputy ward sister from 1971-1973. Dolores later returned to St Edmundsbury in 1989 and has been working as a Clinical Nurse manager 2 since 1990.

Lydia Martin has 7 years experience working as an Occupational Therapist in mental health. She has facilitated a number of groups across a variety of therapeutic programmes within the hospital. Lydia also provides individual interventions for clients looking at their lifestyle patterns and how it impacts on their mental health, vocational issues, stress, personal development and functional assessments. Her clinical interests are depression, anxiety, occupational balance and stress management.
Noelle Meehan qualified as a Systemic Psychotherapist in 1997.She is registered with the Family Therapy Association of Ireland, the Irish Council of Psychotherapy and is certified by the European Association of Psychotherapy . Noelle has a six year history of working in the area of Adult Mental Health having previously worked with families experiencing difficulty and where children were possibly at risk. Noelle is part of all the consultant's teams in St. Edmundsbury and takes referrals to work with individuals, couples, families and extended families. Noelle's special interest is in exploring the impact mental health difficulties have on the family dynamic and relationships and vice versa - the impact family dynamics and relationships have on and individual experiencing mental health difficulties.

Celine works within St. Edmundsbury Hospital, Lucan and the Dean Clinic Lucan, offering both Systemic and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy on an individual, couple and group basis. Celine's clients include in-patients, day patients, out-patients and community based patients. Celine has worked with a number of consultants who differ in their areas of specialism across Mental Health Disorders, including anxiety and affective disorders.Her own particular areas of interest include low self esteem and social anxiety.
