There are a wide range of activities available within the hospital, including art, pottery, gym and a computer room, internet access, a library as well as a number of programmes.
The Twilight Programme is designed to cater for your social and recreational needs during your stay at St. Patrick’s University Hospital.
The purpose of the programme is to introduce an environment where you can socialise and relax while engaging in a range of activities. The programme is based on open groups, which means you have the freedom to choose what activities to engage in.
The programme has been developed over time and is aimed at engaging the individual on a physical, cognitive, creative and social level. There are opportunities for you to take part in creative arts activities, movement & meditation classes, social groups and games activities.
It is also our aim to encourage positive coping behaviour through positive recreational/leisure choices that strive to add meaning and restore balance and quality to your life. Participation in such recreational activities offers support and helps to build on personal resources while moving towards wellness and recovery.
