Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist
Colette is a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist on the Anxiety Disorders Programme and Grattan ward. She is also the Head of the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Department at St Patricks University Hospital. She has 25 years experience working within mental health care.
She has worked as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist for 12 years and her clinical interest and areas of experience are Anxiety Disorders (OCD, Health anxiety, BDD, PTSD, GAD, phobias, panic disorder and sexual dysfunction), Depression and other more complex presentations.
Her current role involves leading, managing and supervision within the CBT Dept. She is involved in training and supervising on the CBT courses jointly run by St. Patrick's University Hospital and Trinity College. She is currently studying for her MSc in Advanced Cognitive Therapy at the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre and Oxford University.

Debbie has a Diploma in Nursing (General, Community, Psychiatry) and Midwifery, BA Nursing Education and Administration, Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Psychotherapy, Certificate in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and MBCT course facilitator.
Debbie has 20 years experience in mental health with a special interest in Anxiety Disorders. She has worked in various setting including community service, acute and chronic care in South Africa, UK and Ireland. She has been part of the Anxiety Disorders team at St. Patricks' since 2008.

Judy is a Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Anxiety Disorders Service, with particular focus on developing outpatient and day patient services. She has lectured in TCD at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Judy is a co-ordinator and teacher in group/individual practice of Mindfulness Based Approaches. This includes Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness & Acceptance Based Approaches and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy. RPN, BScN, CBT trainee
Martha is a Trinity College graduate who has over five years experience as a psychiatric nurse working in all areas of mental health. She has a specific interest in anxiety disorders and is currently in the process of obtaining her Postgraduate Diploma in CBT. In the absence of Judy or Debbie, Martha facilitates the programme so that a seamless and highly skilled standard of care is always upheld.

Melissa Hayde has eight years experience as a medical secretary and obtained a Degree in Psychology in 2008.
Melissa’s role encompasses managing Dr. McDonough’s private outpatient clinic, fielding enquiries and coordinating new patient assessments in the multi-disciplinary Anxiety Assessment Clinic @ Dean Clinic Capel, organising the Anxiety Programme Aftercare Groups and is a central part of the Anxiety Disorder’s Programme annual review and audit.
Melissa liaises between team members and departments within St. Patrick’s University Hospital to ensure a smooth and efficient service overall.
MB MRCPI MRCPsych CBT accredited (BABCP)
Consultant Psychiatrist since 2003, Honorary Clinical Lecturer at TCD on the CBT Programme and Director of the Anxiety Disorders Programme St Patrick’s University Hospital.
Graduated TCD 1992, higher training in the Maudsley Hospital and Institute of Psychiatry London. Academic and clinical special interests: Anxiety Disorders and CBT (as well as general clinical experience in adult psychiatry).
RPN, RGN, PGDip Cognitive Psychotherapy
Patricia has over 20 years experience working as a mental health nurse. She graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2008 with a PGDip in Cognitive Psychotherapy. Since then she has practiced as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist specialising in the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders.

Michelle graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2010. She currently works with two multidisciplinary teams in St. Patrick’s University Hospital contributing to the inpatient and outpatient services. She also facilitates a group as part of the Mood Disorders Programme.
Michelle’s work with patients primarily focuses on their daily routine and structure. She assists patients to identify lifestyle changes and set goals that will be supportive of their recovery at home.
Michelle is currently participating in training in the Assessment of Motor and Process skills (AMPS).

Dr. Richard Booth is Director of Psychology. He specialised in the treatment of anxiety disorders at the University of British Columbia and started work here at St Patrick’s in 1990. He leads the Living Through Distress Programme, contributes to the Anxiety Disorders Programme and also works with the inpatient service.

Shalom Lambert is a qualified Social Worker, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Systemic Psychotherapy, currently undertaking her Masters (MSc) in Systemic Psychotherapy. She has been working in St. Patrick’s University Hospital for almost four years and currently works with two multidisciplinary teams.
Shalom works with individuals, couples and families who are experiencing or living with mental health difficulties. She is particularly interested in the relationship between mental health and the wider social context and has experience of working with people from diverse social, cultural, economic and religious backgrounds.
